Vinay BS and Uday BS started Multisoft Solutions as a small hardware service desk in 1996. It has grown into laptop sales, chip-level bench repair, and a dedicated data-recovery lab, still run out of the same neighbourhood.
How we got here
Multisoft Solutions opened in 1996 as a hardware service desk in J. P. Nagar, fixing whatever machines the neighbourhood brought in and trading spare parts when a repair needed one. There was no showroom model to copy; the shop grew because the same customers kept coming back with the next fault.
Over the years the bench work paid for itself into a second business: buying used laptops, stripping and testing them properly, and reselling only what earned the grade. Data recovery came later, once enough failed drives had passed through the shop to justify building a lab for them instead of turning that work away.
How we work today
Every machine gets diagnosed before anyone gives an opinion on it, whether it walked in for repair or is being considered for resale. We do not quote off a description over the phone, because half the time the description is wrong and the other half it is incomplete.
A written quote follows the diagnosis, before any billable work starts. Refurbished stock is tested and graded on our own bench, not taken on trust from a supplier invoice. If we cannot say honestly what is wrong with a device, we would rather say that than guess and charge for the guess.
